Located in the prestigious Baridhara Diplomatic Zone of Dhaka, Rosevalley is an innovative residential development designed to blend functionality with aesthetics while responding to the site's unique corner plot. Positioned at the intersection of the north and east corners, the design strategy focused on creating a feathering effect to soften the rigid edges of the corner. This was achieved through the careful articulation of flanked slabs at the floor and beam bottom levels, offering a sense of shelter while also being responsive to the climate.
At the heart of the design is a circular mass positioned at the corner, reminiscent of a watchtower. This striking feature houses the living rooms of each unit, providing panoramic views in all directions, making the most of the corner plot’s potential. The flanked balconies extending from the slabs are not only functional but also offer opportunities for greenery, allowing residents to engage with nature through personal plantations.
The building’s roof has been transformed into a lush garden, serving as a communal space for gatherings and a safe area for children to play. It also includes a modern gym for the residents. Below the building, basement parking is made accessible through a car lift, maximizing space efficiency while providing convenience for the residents.
Rosevalley’s design balances elegant architectural gestures with practical solutions, creating a living environment that is both comfortable and responsive to its urban context.
