Nature is an integral part of the thought process. All blocks unfolded south and southeast to allow every space to breathe and be lit. All openings keep your eyes unobstructed when looking outside. Each frame of the balcony consists of steel braces with a minimal footprint. Wooden planks are placed to create perforations that help nature and aid in the transition to the bare ground below. The living room space appears to permeate the ground floor plinth, which is elevated to the point where it delicately touches bare earth. As a response, the last rectangular block is placed on top of the northern section, with the client's printmaking studio on the second story.
Creepers and trees cradle the texture of brick and raw concrete, while wood and glass pave the way for the earth and sky. The concrete and brick that make the house stand are left in their raw state. It was an effort to break up the monotony and allow the materials to reveal their genuine character to nature.
Almost no garbage was left over from the construction. The building site's water tank is transformed into a lily pond, and the shuttering steels are turned into the main gate of the residence. The house is there to acknowledge a statement rather than to make one. that we are a part of nature and that we may benefit from and thrive from it. As a gesture of gratitude, we must give them more room so that they can grow among us.
